Celebrated my Birthday in one of the best places in the US - NOLA. This is our third time staying at this hotel. We love it for it's location and friendly staff. We arrived pretty late as our flight had been delayed so check-in was past closing time. The front desk clerk, Senorita, I believe that was her name, was attending it. She was so sweet and welcoming and took care of use really quickly to get us in and rested for the night. We booked two rooms with balconies that overlooked the courtyard. They were very nice and comfortable if a little dated and mildly worn. But it is a historic hotel right in the French Quarter so it was expected. The shower was hot and pressure really good and the beds super comfy and plushy. The A/C worked wonderful (we experienced warm and cool climate during our stay). The location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of the French quarter but not right on Bourbon street. I also appreciated that the main lobby is locked after a certain time and only tenants have access with their keys. The street is well lit so you felt safe going in to the hotel late at night. In addition, all the staff of the hotel was really nice, from the bell hops, front desk ladies, housekeeping, security, etc. I appreciate the hospitality industry employees and the work they do - it is a tough job. We did not make use of the onsite restaurant or the other amenities as our travels primarily focused on immersing ourselves into the history, food and drinks of the City.

I loved the quaint feel of the hotel. It has French Quarter charm, and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. We found the front desk helpful in identifying restaurants in the area and tips on how to get around NOLA. Our room, though a bit small, was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. I wish we could have booked a balcony room, because it looks like it makes the room feel bigger. Nice big shower and quality bath products. The hotel was very quiet considering it was only a block from Bourbon Street, and we felt absolutely safe. Don't be put off by the appearance of the coffee shop--a bit run down looking--the breakfast sandwiches were really great. We didn't eat in the bar, but it was always hopping, and we heard several people say how good the food was. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the Cathedral, the Natchez Steamboat, and Canal Street/St. Charles Streetcars.

The hotel was beautiful, reasonably priced, convenient, and had everything needed, especially during the historic blizzard. Their coffee shop was one of only a few locations open during the snowstorm. Their bar opened early as well so guests had drinks and food available. The front desk receptionist made sure we were able to keep our same room when we needed to extend our stay due to multiple flight cancellations. The bed was comfortable; the room was clean; and the shower water was hot and had plenty of pressure. It was right around the corner from Bourbon Street so was convenient to great restaurants and walking to Decatur, yet it wasn’t noisy. Their pool looked lovely but obviously not used due to the cold weather. We will definitely stay there again.

We went to New Orleans to celebrate my 60th Birthday. When we arrived there was a bottle of Champagne in our room. The Hotel is right at the heart of the French Quarter just off Bourbon Street. Amazing location !!! Very noisy but just what we wanted. The Hotel is beautiful and the staff are so friendly . Very attentive and polite, helpful and accommodating. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to try all of the fabulous cafe's just a 5 min walk away. The Hotel is central enough that you can walk almost everywhere. We walked to Jackson Square, Royal Street, Canal Street, The WW2 Museum. We hopped on the tram at Canal street to a fab BBQ place called The Blue Oak BBQ. Fabulous food :-)

Karen

We stayed in a balcony room with stret view and it was perfect. Very spacious room with a little coffee station and plenty of clothes storage. Everything was clean and comfortable - it was so nice to sit out on the balcony with coffee in the morning. The room was also really quiet relative to location. There was some noise from the street, but really not bad at all considering how close the hotel is to Bourbon Street. And the location was incredible. So much is in walking distance from the hotel, could not have asked for a better spot. The staff was lovely as well - really accommodating and friendly. We'd absolutely love to come back!
